These reagents follow the DPD Method in which the reaction between chlorine and reagent causes a pink tint in the sample. By simply adding the packet of HI-701-25 reagent, the reaction will take place and the HI-701 will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm (mg/L) of free chlorine. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 2.50 ppm free chlorine.

 

The HI-775-26 are high-quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Freshwater Alkalinity Checker® HC. These reagents follow the Colorimetric Method in which the reaction causes a distinctive range of colours from yellow to green to blue to develop. By simply adding one drop of the Chlorine Remover to remove the chlorine interference, and subsequently adding 1 mL of the Alkalinity Reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI-775 will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm of CaCO3. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0 to 500 ppm CaCO3.

 

The HI-733-25 is a high-quality, pre-measured reagent allowing users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Ammonia High Range Checker® HC. These reagents follow the Nessler Method in which the reaction between ammonia and reagents causes a yellow tint in the sample. By simply adding 9 mL from the first reagent bottle and subsequently 4 drops from the dropper bottle to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI-733 will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced.
