Copper test

Raised, harmful and toxic levels of copper are being discovered in many UK & Dutch Koi Ponds. 

Toxins are increasing in ponds for many reasons including unsealed Tanalised Timber, Non food grade pipes etc. Elite Koi have actively helped our customers reduce the high levels of copper found in there ponds.

If you suspect you may have a problem, send us a water sample for copper analysis. 

To conduct the analysis, we need 100ml of pond water which should be sent or delivered to Elite Koi using a fresh water drinking bottle. When taking the sample please fill the vessel completely allowing no air to remain in the container. 

If high levels are discovered and need to be reduced follow up samples of source water (from the mains Tap) and a sample just prior to the water entering the pond will be required. 

All 3 samples can be sent together but please label the containers clearly.
