GinRin Karashigoi / Asagi Koi 38cm Nisai – Maruhiro (EK7122)
EK7122 is a fascinating 38cm Nisai from Maruhiro, currently best described as a GinRin Karashigoi / Asagi-type Koi and one that could be particularly interesting to watch develop.
The photograph really shows what makes this koi unusual. Across the back there is strong GinRin sparkle combined with pronounced scale definition and a warm golden/yellow ground. Running through this is darker Asagi-style reticulation, giving the koi a distinctive textured appearance rather than the uniform colour normally associated with a straightforward Karashigoi.
What makes EK7122 particularly intriguing is its future development. There are characteristics here reminiscent of the Golden Corn style, where Asagi influence, reticulation and warmer colour can become increasingly pronounced as the koi matures. We are not classifying this koi as a Golden Corn, but its development should certainly be worth following.
At 38cm as a Nisai, it already has good size and a long frame, and Maruhiro is particularly well known for producing Chagoi, Soragoi, Ochiba and GinRin koi with strong growth potential.

Shipping
At Elite Koi we understand the importance of receiving your items quickly. We shall endeavour to dispatch your items within 1 working day and same day if your order is received before 1pm. Orders are not accepted until you receive notification from us that the order has been fulfilled via e-mail. Our courier service is not guaranteed to be overnight due to some circumstances being beyond our control.
Dry Goods Shipped by Courier, 95% - 98% of all orders couriered are received the following working day however this is not guaranteed by our courier service provider, therefore Elite Koi do not and cannot guarantee Overnight service. If your item is required urgently please contact us prior to checking out.
Working days do not include Saturday's, Sunday's or Bank Holidays. i.e. if an order is placed on a Friday before 1pm, the item will be dispatched from us and collected by the courier. The item will not be delivered until the following Monday at the earliest and in some cases this could be the Tuesday.
Elite Koi do not ship any goods on Wednesday's, however if the item is needed urgently please contact prior to placing the order.

Live Fish
Live Fish £30 per box overnight courier service. Live fish require conditioning to travel and Elite Koi will contact you to book the service for a convenient time for you to receive the Koi prior to Noon Wednesday & Friday

We hope you are happy with your purchases from Elite Koi however if you have ordered the wrong item let us know for an exchange. All Dry Goods can be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase provided they have not been opened or used. Should you wish to return an item which is unopened and unused please contact us within 30 days of the sale of purchase. We will then send you our return details.
Items damaged in the post should be reported to us within 48 Hours of receipt.
