A striking 57cm Nisai Showa from the highly respected Maruhiro Koi Farm, personally selected for its powerful pattern balance, exceptional skin quality and outstanding future potential. Following quarantine and development at Elite Koi, this impressive specimen has earned its place within our Exclusive Elite Collection.
This Showa immediately captures attention through its bold hi pattern, deep developing sumi and clean white shiroji. The placement of the black sumi creates excellent balance throughout the body, while the vibrant red beni provides tremendous visual impact from every angle.
The broad head, strong shoulder structure and excellent body conformation give this koi genuine authority in the pond. As the sumi continues to mature and consolidate, this Showa should become even more impressive with age.
Variety Insight
Showa Sanshoku, commonly known simply as Showa, is one of the prestigious Gosanke varieties and remains among the most sought-after Japanese koi worldwide.
Unlike Kohaku and Sanke, Showa is fundamentally a black koi upon which red and white markings develop. The variety is recognised for powerful sumi wrapping around the body and extending through the head, creating dramatic contrast between all three colours.
A high-quality Showa offers constant development and interest, with sumi evolving and strengthening over time.

At Elite Koi we understand the importance of receiving your items quickly. We shall endeavour to dispatch your items within 1 working day and same day if your order is received before 1pm. Orders are not accepted until you receive notification from us that the order has been fulfilled via e-mail. Our courier service is not guaranteed to be overnight due to some circumstances being beyond our control.
Dry Goods Shipped by Courier, 95% - 98% of all orders couriered are received the following working day however this is not guaranteed by our courier service provider, therefore Elite Koi do not and cannot guarantee Overnight service. If your item is required urgently please contact us prior to checking out.
Working days do not include Saturday's, Sunday's or Bank Holidays. i.e. if an order is placed on a Friday before 1pm, the item will be dispatched from us and collected by the courier. The item will not be delivered until the following Monday at the earliest and in some cases this could be the Tuesday.
Elite Koi do not ship any goods on Wednesday's, however if the item is needed urgently please contact prior to placing the order.

Live Fish
Live Fish £30 per box overnight courier service. Live fish require conditioning to travel and Elite Koi will contact you to book the service for a convenient time for you to receive the Koi prior to Noon Wednesday & Friday

We hope you are happy with your purchases from Elite Koi however if you have ordered the wrong item let us know for an exchange. All Dry Goods can be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase provided they have not been opened or used. Should you wish to return an item which is unopened and unused please contact us within 30 days of the sale of purchase. We will then send you our return details.
Items damaged in the post should be reported to us within 48 Hours of receipt.
