Really interesting Scrape this, Two Koi brought in for a look at. One was obviously very healthy and the other was very weak and emaciated. It also had a largish patch of green fungus on its shoulder which I would suspect had been there quite a while. Water came back good so we took a scrape from both Koi on the same slide.
The upper part of the slide which had the mucous on from the healthy Koi only showed up 2 Skin Flukes. The lower part of the same is the mucous from the sick Koi and you can clearly see the opportunistic Costia on this weak Koi. The young lad was quite upset about his small Koi so I've tasked him with getting rid of the Costia and bringing a Koi back for a scrape next week. We also let him pick another Koi.
