As summer settles in, our ponds become more active and our koi begin feeding more confidently. It's an exciting time of year, especially with new Japanese koi arriving and our weekly Saturday Live Auction continuing to grow.
With warmer weather comes greater responsibility for maintaining excellent water quality. Healthy koi thrive in stable conditions, so now is a great time to check your filtration, ensure good oxygen levels and monitor your water parameters.
Keep Feeding Sensibly
As temperatures rise, your koi's appetite naturally increases. Feed little and often, only providing what they can comfortably consume within a few minutes. Overfeeding can quickly affect water quality.
Maintain Crystal Clear Water
Good filtration remains the heart of every healthy pond. Regular maintenance, cleaning filter media correctly and monitoring water quality all help create the stable environment your koi deserve.
Welcome New Koi Carefully
If you're introducing new Japanese koi this summer, take your time acclimating them. Allow temperatures to equalise and monitor your pond carefully during the first few days.
New Japanese Koi This Week
We've added another selection of beautiful Japanese koi to the website, including:

• Shusui

Each fish has been individually selected and comes with an Elite Koi Identification Certificate, giving you confidence in every purchase.
Whether you're looking for a friendly Chagoi, an elegant metallic Ogon or something with striking pattern and colour, there's something for every pond.
Join Our Saturday Live Auction
Every Saturday at 11:00am we host our live Japanese Koi Auction, where we showcase hand-selected koi, answer your questions and enjoy chatting with fellow koi keepers from across the UK.
It's a relaxed, friendly event where everyone is welcome—whether you're buying or simply enjoying the fish.
