Whitespot is a Fish Parasite and in the heirachy of Parasites with the ability to kill and do large damage to your Koi, It is one of the top! Other Koi Parasites which we routinely identify using our Shop Microscope are Whitespot, Costia, Chillodonella (Chillo), Trichodina ( Trich), Skin Flukes and Gill Flukes. If you suspect you have any of the top 3 Parasites, we would urge you to seek help in identifying and most importantly treating the pond to get rid of the parasites.
